Learn to Lead Climb
£60 PP. Does not include wall entry.
Lead climbing is an exciting and daunting prospect for most. This 3 week course will teach you everything you need to know to safely lead climb indoors. You must be fully competent at fitting a harness, tying a figure eight knot with stopper and belaying and lowering safely using a bottom rope.
Minimum of two participants needed.
You will learn the following skills:

Correct equipment selection.

How to safely clip the rope into the quickdraws.

Rope management when climbing.

How to belay a lead climber.
-
How to hold a falling climber.

Different belay devices and their advantages.

Safe communication between partners.

Lead Climbing Improvers Course
£70 pp. Does not include wall entry.
This 3 week course is designed to help you improve your lead climbing by one grade. You must be leading a minimum of 6a and be fully competent with all aspects of lead climbing safety.
Minimum of 2 participants needed.
We will cover the following:

Personal assessment of your lead climbing

Breathing and Relaxation

Positive mental approach

Resting
-
Route reading

Things for you to work towards upon completing the course.
